In a world in constant evolution, the railway sector needs higher running efficiency. At CAF Power & Automation we develop electric traction systems, energy storage systems and control & communication systems, which guarantee adaptable, reliable and committed solutions with transport.

Our modular and flexible systems can be integrated both in new vehicles and in those in service or that need refurbishment, from trams to locomotives.

We create products adapted to each customer's specific requirements, ensuring the highest efficiency and quality in all of them. Our worldwide experience has made us a benchmark in the design and manufacturing of systems for the railway sector.

At CAF Power & Automation we are passionate about what we do and we work hard because we believe in smart mobility.

History

CAF Power & Automation is the result of an initiative of the CAF Group which, drawing on 100 years of experience, merged three companies into one: Trainelec, Traintic and DTQ4.

Power, control and electronics are now united to be drive hundreds of railway vehicles running worldwide.

We therefore have a broad background, in which research, innovation and the desire to excel are constants.
