The 6th International Rail and Transport Industry Exhibition, Iran Rail Expo 2018, will be held on 19th-22nd of June, which CAF Power & Automation will take part in, showcasing its control, traction and accumulation systems for railways systems.
CAF Power will take part together with the CAF GROUP subsidiaries, CAF Miira and CAF Signalling at stand S.P1 in Hall 8-9 at the Tehran International Exhibition & Convention Centre
This edition will boast extensive attendance by Iranian companies such as Iran Railways, Tehran Metro and Metropolitan Transit and a further 100 foreign companies. Attendees can discover an extensive range of industries and services relating to rail transport on urban and suburban tracks, electric and diesel locomotives and freight transport.
CAF Power will attend this edition of the key rail industry fair in the Middle East further to being awarded the supply of the control and traction systems in the Brussels Metro project in Belgium and the Algiers Metro Project in Algeria.
It is also refurbishing the electric diesel traction on the 4 locomotives the company Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie-CMI Group owns in Tunisia. CMI has also awarded CAF Power the supply of the traction systems for 8 newly manufactured electric diesel traction locomotives which will run in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
